Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Located in Georgetown, is the only international airport in Guyana. There are regular flights from major Cities in United States, Canada and other countries going to Guyana.

From Canada & United States there are regular flights direct and indirect flights from different airlines including Delta reaching Georgetown from, Toronto, New York, Atlanta and Miami.

GMU students have been accepted requiring visa to enter Guyana will be facilitated by our Student Affairs Dept. towards best possible travel options including booking their travel itinerary and any other arrangements necessary.

A departure tax of approximately US$ 10.75 is collected when leaving Guyana.
